My Favourite Meals of 2015.

Having only started blogging in May 2015, I haven't yet completed a full year.
However, as we have now come to the end of this year and 2016 has begun, I thought I'd look back over the 40 odd reviews that I have done so far and highlight my favourites.

This list is in no particular order. They're all just great restaurants with extra delicious food.

1) The Cross Keys - Turnditch.
My first ever blog post on Munching With Monet so this is always going to be a favourite. Not only that, but what sticks out to me about here is how beautiful it is within the Derbyshire countryside.

2) OAKS - Nottingham.
I can remember walking past OAKS before it opened and I couldn't wait to visit. It had a USP with their sausages which made it stand out to me. I love how they use locally sourced wood to cook with too. A great place.

3) The Forge - Derby.
The Forge is tucked away in Blacksmiths Yard just off Sadler Gate in Derby. It's an adorable little courtyard where I enjoyed a delicious burger sat outside on a lovely summery day. The chips here are to die for.

4) The Bulls Head - Repton.
Amazing food, amazing building with amazing staff. The Bulls Head is an all time favourite. It's a long way to travel for me but totally worth it. The Garden Room is so quirky and so different to any other room I've dined in before.

5) Reds True BBQ - Nottingham.
I visited Reds after I'd been to Rub in Nottingham had been very disappointed. Many told me how much better Reds is and they were right. Crazy American style BBQ food with milkshakes and some amazing flavours. Chicken and waffles. Yummy.

6) River Gardens Chinese - Belper.
I visit River Garden's all the time. It's just that good. I've never had a bad meal here and what can be better than all you can eat Chinese!? The staff are all friendly and the food is excellent quality. Definitely worth a visit.

7) George's Kitchen - Nottingham.
If you're from the area, you'll know of George's Tradition. This restaurant in Nottingham is part of George's, but a totally different concept. Great fish & chips with lots of extra things to chose from too but in a great seaside themed environment.

8) The Dog - Pentrich.
Visited not long ago for my birthday and had some delicious bar food. As the place that me and Ashlea met, it will always be a favourite. Also a good place to go with Bob as they allow doggies.

Here's to 2016 - Can't wait to find out where I'll be dining!

Thanks for reading,
