Coal Grill & Bar - Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Hello! Just a quick little review today!
On Sunday, me and Ashlea decided to start our Christmas shopping at Meadowhall.
After wandering around for a while, we started to get hungry. We decided to try Coal.
Luckily, we managed to get seated straight away. We asked our server if we could sit in one of the booths as they looked comfier and this was no problem for them.

We were given menus and left to browse.
To drink, I chose a large diet pepsi (which was huge!) and Ashlea had a pint of San Miguel.

Our waitress came to take our order. I decided that I wanted to try something a little different to normal so chose the Chicken Schnitzel.
I'll be honest, the presentation wasn't amazing. But the taste certainly made up for it.
The chicken was lovely and moist with the cheese melted on top and the breadcrumbs crunchy.
The chips were good, but I've had better.

Ashlea chose to have a Slow cooked Beef Brisket Burger.
He said this was delicious and had no trouble in scoffing it down! He agreed with me about the chips too.
The interior was really nice, mainly wooden styles. I really liked how it looked like there were hot coals in the walls. Was different.

We didn't have dessert as we were both so full from the main courses.
There wasn't chance to look at the menu as it was just a quick lunch.

Overall, I had a very nice meal at Coal. I would visit again, but as there is so much choice for food in Meadowhall, I'll probably try somewhere new next time.
The staff were all lovely and we even had a chat with our waitress about what we had been up to. The food was better priced than I expected it to be too.
